Titian Kanopi FRIM Perlis
The canopy walkway at the FRIM research station in Mata Ayer puts you roughly level with the crowns of teak trees planted more than forty years ago. The structure runs about 100 metres, strung between six observation towers, with the main tower reaching around 17 metres.
It reopened in early 2026 as part of the Teak Eco Park, and the notable addition is guided twilight and night walks — the forest is a different place after dark, and this is one of the few places in Perlis set up to show you that safely.
It opens daily from 9am to 4pm, with weekend hours flexing to demand, and tickets are inexpensive. The station is at KM21 on the Dam Timah Tasoh road out of Padang Besar, so it fits with the reservoir rather than with the Kaki Bukit caves.
Worth calling ahead for the night walks, which are guided and not run on demand.
